Whimgram handles payments through two distinct channels: room subscriptions are processed via a secure external payment gateway, and earned rewards are paid automatically to your registered bank account every Monday. Both are generally non-refundable once processed, except where explicitly stated below or required by applicable law.
Room subscriptions are charged directly via payment gateway at the time of joining. No earnings balance is deducted for room access.
- The room was deleted by its owner or by Whimgram within 48 hours of your subscription payment, without prior notice
- A verified technical error caused your payment to be processed without granting you room access
- A duplicate charge occurred due to a payment gateway error — reported within 14 days
- Change of mind after subscribing
- Failure to use the room after subscribing
- Dissatisfaction with room content, provided the room is functioning as described
- Account suspension or ban resulting from violations of our Terms of Service
Contact [email protected] within 7 days of the charge with your username, room name, and payment reference. We will review and respond within 5 business days.
When a subscriber receives an approved refund, the corresponding 70% creator share is reclaimed. If the creator's payout for the relevant period has not yet been processed, the amount is deducted from their upcoming Monday payout. Creators should factor this into their pricing decisions.
Earned rewards from the weekly pool are paid directly to your registered bank account every Monday. There is no wallet and no manual withdrawal step.
- Earned rewards are non-refundable once a payout has been processed to your bank
- Rewards that have not yet been paid out (e.g. queued for the current Monday) may be adjusted or cancelled in cases of fraud or policy violation
- To receive payouts, you must have valid bank details on file before each Monday's processing window (2:00 AM – 10:00 PM WAT)
Once a payout has been sent to your bank account, it cannot be reversed. Please ensure your bank name, account number, and account name are correct before each Monday.
- If a payout fails due to an error on our end, we will retry within the same Monday window
- If funds are not received by end of Monday due to a verified error on our end, contact us immediately at [email protected]
- Whimgram is not liable for delays caused by your bank or incorrect account details you provided
- Payouts sent to incorrect bank details provided by the user are not eligible for reimbursement
Pending or future payouts may be forfeited in the following cases:
- Your account is permanently banned for violations of the Terms of Service
- Your account is involved in fraudulent activity as determined by our review
- Your account is dormant for more than 12 consecutive months — we will send a 30-day notice to your registered email before any forfeiture
If you believe a transaction was made in error, contact us first at [email protected] before initiating any chargeback with your bank or payment provider.
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the immediate suspension of your account and forfeiture of any pending payouts pending investigation. Always reach out to us first.
Approved refunds for room subscriptions are reversed to your original payment method within 3–5 business days, subject to your payment provider's processing times. Whimgram will confirm the refund via email once it has been initiated.
Nothing in this Refund Policy overrides any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law. If you are a Nigerian user, your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) are not excluded by these terms.
For refund requests, include your username, transaction date, and a brief description of the issue. We respond within 5 business days.
